Professor Jorge Feijoo Conde recently participated in a staff mobility program for training under the Erasmus+ program.
During his stay, he attended the 70th meeting of the Implementation Group of the EMILYO (European Initiative for the Exchange of Young Officers Inspired by Erasmus) program, held from May 25 to 27, 2026, at the National Defence Academy of Latvia (NDAL) in Riga, Latvia.
The meeting brought together representatives from various European institutions involved in officer education and training to coordinate and promote initiatives for academic cooperation and international exchange in the field of higher military education.

In addition to participating in the conference’s plenary sessions, Professor Feijoo Conde contributed to Development Areas 1, 2, and 8 (System of Equivalences, Development of Competencies & Common Modules) and 3 (Development of E-Learning). This participation allowed him to gain an in-depth understanding of the curricula and training models of various European military academies.

The experience has served to strengthen cooperative ties among the participating institutions, fostering the creation of new opportunities for collaboration among their faculty and researchers. It will also help promote international mobility among cadets through their participation in courses and academic activities funded by the Erasmus+ program, thereby strengthening the European dimension of their education.
