On January the 26th, 2024 took place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Vigo the celebration of the feast of its patron saint, St. Tomas de Aquino. In this event, among others, the extraordinary degree award was granted to AN Mr. Francisco Javier Vélez Peinado, former student of CUD-ENM, as the best graduate record in mechanical engineering in the 2018-2023 class.
Due to the impossibility of attendance of the awarded, the prize was collected on his behalf by his brother, the Asp. 1º Mr. Álvaro Vélez Peinado, who was accompanied at the ceremony by the Deputy Director of the Defense University Center at the Spanish Naval Academy, Mrs. Belén Barragáns Martínez, and the CC Mr. Juan José Rivas Calvar, who attended the ceremony on behalf of the ENM.
