Within an official ceremony of Penal Law carried out at the ENM on Friday 25th June, different personnel of the Defense University Center at the Spanish Naval Academy, both civilian and military, were decorated. Thus, Professor Dr. D. Norberto Fernández García and Mr. Dr. D. Pablo Sendín Raña received the Cross of Naval Merit with white badge. Also, Ms. Rut Gestal Fernández received an honourable mention. All these decorations were awarded at the proposal of the Directorate General of Recruitment and Military Education (DIGEREM), after being formulated by the Management of this Center, in recognition of their dedication and good work during the years that they have been part of the institution.
Military personnel received the plaque (Second Lieutenant José Antonio Alabarces Peñalver) and commendation (Brigade José Miguel Santos Lema) of the Royal Military Order of San Hermenegildo, which reward their constancy and impeccable conduct in 30 and 25 years of service, respectively. Corporal Iago Ojosnegros González also received the Bronze Cross for Constancy of Service, for the same reasons, after 15 years of service.
