On January the 28th, 2025 took place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Vigo the celebration of the feast of its patron saint, St. Tomas de Aquino. During this ceremony, held in the auditorium of the faculty, several academic awards were given. Among them, AN Mr. Pedro Palacios Guerrero, former student of CUD-ENM, was awarded as the best academic record in the Degree in Mechanical Engineering of the class of 2019-2024.

Due to the impossibility of the awarded to attend, the prize was collected on his behalf by his father, Mr. Javier Palacios Blanco, who was accompanied at the ceremony by Ms. Rocío Guerrero Ankersmit, mother of the awardee, as well as by the Director of the CUD-ENM, Mr. José Martín Davila, and the CN. Pedro Cardona Suanzes, Commander-Director of the ENM, who attended on behalf of their respective centers.
