The Defense University Center at the Spanish Naval Academy (CUD-ENM) received on February 6th, 2025 the institutional visit of a delegation of ISDEFE (Systems Engineering for the Defense of Spain) integrated by Mr. Daniel Acuña Calviño, Director of Operations, and Mr. Jesús Carrera Martínez, Director of Technologies for Defense and Security.
The visit was structured in two main parts. During the first one, the Director of the CUD-ENM, Mr. José Martín Davila, made a brief presentation on the academic and research activities currently developed at the Center. Afterwards, the ISDEFE delegation, accompanied by the Research Coordinator, the management team of the CUD-ENM, and the Commander-Director of the ENM, CN. Mr. Pedro Cardona Suanzes, made a tour of the ENM’s facilities (Navigation and Astronomical Simulators), and of the CUD-ENM (Research Building).
During this visit, Mr. Daniel Acuña and Mr. Jesús Carrera were able to learn in depth about the organizational structure of the Center’s research groups, its main lines of work in R&D and the projects currently under development.
