During the week of October 14-18, 2024, two representatives of the Public Relations Office of the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy (NVNA) of Bulgaria visited the Defense University Center at the Spanish Naval Academy (CUD-ENM). This activity, within the framework of the European Erasmus+ program, was aimed at promoting the exchange of good practices and experiences in the field of military training at naval academies.
During their stay, the visitors participated in various activities, including meetings with the CUD-ENM staff and visits to ENM facilities, including the Navigation Simulator, the CUD-ENM research building and the teaching laboratories, dedicated to the training of future Navy Officers. Presentations were also given about both institutions, highlighting their educational offerings and the opportunities for exchange of personnel within the Erasmus+ program for the mobility of trainees (STT) as well as teaching staff (STA).
This exchange proved to be a valuable opportunity to strengthen international collaboration between the two academies.
