Access and admission criteria

The DIRETIC master degree is developed exclusively to provide training for civil servant personnel linked to the Ministry of Defence and is aimed at these personnel, which determines the admission mechanism. In this context, the Recruitment and Military Education General Department (DIGEREM) will establish the admission criteria, select the candidates and publish the list resulting from the selection process through official channels (in particular, the Official Defence Gazette, BOD).

The personnel of the specific Army Corps (with the exception of the Quartermaster Corps) and of the Civil Guard, Officer scale, with positions of Lieutenant Colonel / Frigate Captain and Commander / Lieutenant Commander, may apply for this Master.

For the Corps of Polytechnic Engineers of the Army and of Engineers of the Navy and the Air Force, those of the Captain / Lieutenant of the Navy job may also apply for it.

In the case of the Corps of Polytechnic Engineers of the ET, of the Officers’ Scale and of the Technical Scale of Officers, it is limited to the fundamental specialty of Telecommunications and Electronics. For the Corps of Engineers of the EA, it is limited to graduates in telecommunications or computer science of the Officers’ Scale and for the fundamental specialty of Telecommunications and Electronics of the Technical Scale.

Civilian Civil Servants of group A1 assigned to the Ministry of Defense may also apply for this Master’s Degree.

The following 25 places have been offered for the 2021-2022 academic year:

  • Central Body: Ten (10) positions, of which:

    • Secretary of State for Defense (SEDEF), four (4) positions.

    • Center for Information and Communications Systems and Technologies (CESTIC), three (3) positions.

    • Military Emergency Unit, one (1) position.

    • Civilian Civil Servants of Group A1 and assigned to the Ministry of Defense who have an academic degree related to this field, or develop their professional activity in this field, two (2) positions.

  • Defense General Staff (EMAD), three (3) positions.

  • Army, two (2) positions.

  • Navy, four (4) positions.

  • Air Force, two (2) positions.

  • Civil Guard, four (4) positions.
