Calendar, class schedules and exams
The Master’s syllabus is organized in two academic years and three terms of approximately five months’ duration.
Taking into account the profile of the Master’s students (who are developing a work activity at the same time they are taking the program), the blended learning model is adopted in the Master’s degree. In particular, in each of the three periods in which the program is structured, there will be:
A remote phase, which will take a just over four months, in which students will have a part-time dedication. In order to make distance teaching compatible with the students’ work activity, classes will be given preferably in the afternoon, from 4 pm to 6 pm, from Monday to Thursday. Class sessions will be recorded so that students can watch them if they are unable to attend a class on time.
A face-to-face phase (to be developed at the Spanish Naval Academy, located in Marín) of around three weeks in which the students will have a full-time dedication. In this case it is assumed that the students, by physically moving to the center, will have full-time availability. Therefore, classes will be distributed in the following time slots: Monday to Friday from 08:30h to 14:00h, and Monday to Thursday from 15:30h to 18:30h.
