Admission Process

Admission to the Defense University Center of Marin is carried out through the annual call of the Ministry of Defense, with access to the Spanish Naval Academy of Marin.

For the year 2023, Royal Decree 340/2023, of May 3rd, which approves the provision of positions in the Armed Forces and the Scale of Civil Guard Officers, has been published.

Resolution 452/38168/2022, of April 27th, of the Undersecretary’s Office, announces the selection processes for admission to military training centers, through direct admission, with and without the requirement of a previous university degree, for incorporation as career military personnel or as complementary military personnel to the Officer Scales of the General Branch, the Marine Infantry Corps and the Civil Guard Corps.

The regulations governing the selection processes for admission to the Defense University Centers require applicants to pass psychophysical tests (physical tests, psychological tests and medical examination), as well as English language tests.

The website of the Ministry of Defense (http://www.reclutamiento.defensa.gob.es) provides more information about the admission process. The documents related to the admission process can be found published in the Center Regulations section of the Defense University Center of Marín website.
